For the last couple of years, I’ve tried hard to complete a money challenge to save for a future trip. It hasn’t happened yet, but I’m determined to make it happen in 2017!
I’m using an Erin Condren deluxe monthly planner to manage my finances this year. I’ll be sharing more of it as I get my system down, but I couldn’t resist sharing the money challenge page I did.
2017 Money Challenge
What I really like about this challenge (that I first shared back in 2015 on my personal blog) is that it doesn’t have you setting aside large amounts of money during the holidays. Plus, it’s monthly which is easier to manage than weekly or daily challenges. I can see myself setting aside money 12 times a year, but 365? I’d probably forget or be frustrated after day 19.
To add a bit of decor to the page, I used these money stickers from Mrs. Grossman.
I’m excited to take this challenge and I hope you’ll join me!
What can you do with an extra $1,050?

What a great challenge!
Oh I like that too! I haven’t come across this way of saving, but that’s a perfect amount for Christmas. I found you on SITS Sharefest today.
This is a great idea! I’m actually gonna start this in August and plan to save up about $500 to finish out the year. I will definitely be implementing this for 2018 as well! Thanks for the inspiration!
