It’s the last day of 2016. It sounds a bit crazy, but I’m honestly pretty excited. This year was rough. Extremely rough! I’m just ready for a fresh start, how about you?
Speaking of fresh starts, welcome to my new blog! Brittany Plans is where I’ll be sharing my love for planning and organizing. You’ll still find me blogging over on my personal blog, Simply Brittany, too.
2016 Planner Spreads
I’ll be honest, it took me a good while to get into my planning groove this year, so these are all after June.
This yellow week was absolutely one of my favorites. Bright and cheery!
This was a really hard week for me as I planned my grandfather’s memorial service. That’s the reason I went with a color that would bring some color to the very dark week I was having. The pink was perfect. And when my grandpa’s photo came out of my Polaroid Zip with a pink tint to match, I cried.
In an attempt to bring more color into my dark world, I used a pastel colorful kit. It turned out wonderful and matched the EC color for August perfectly.
You couldn’t get me to stop watching an episode of Barney when I was younger, I even made my family watch Barney Live in New York City 2-3 times a day. This planner spread was my Barney week. I really loved how the purple and green looked together!
This woodland animal spread I did in October is absolutely adorable. I just love it! I used the October mystery kit from Pip & Melon (they’re totally worth it).
My 4th of July spread was a bit of a fail, so I did a second red, white, and blue spread for Veteran’s and Election Day. I really liked how it turned out.
When it comes to planner spreads, I love me a good rainbow week. This is probably my favorite spread of the entire year! My The Honey B Shop glitter, rainbow week! It was so, so much fun to do and it turned out beautifully. Oh, you can get 25% your The Honey B Shop order when you use my promo code: BRITTANYPLANS25. 😉
And my last favorite spread from 2016 is the gold Christmas week I did. I used the December mystery kit from Pip & Melon and was absolutely in love with out it turned out!
So those are my favorite planner spreads from 2016! I’m so ready to plan in 2017.
Which planner spread is your favorite?
